Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Powersports Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of powersports vehicles. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a dedication to delivering top-notch service to our customers. Additionally, the candidate should be enthusiastic about contributing to the growth and success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnostics and Repair:

  • Perform accurate diagnostics and repairs on motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, and personal watercraft.

  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues and execute appropriate repairs.

  • Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of powersports vehicles, including oil changes, tire replacements, brake adjustments, and fluid checks.

• Technical Expertise:

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in powersports technology and repair techniques.

  • Interpret and implement technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics for accurate troubleshooting and repairs.

  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance meet manufacturer specifications and industry standards.

• Customer Service:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair and maintenance processes to customers.

  • Offer professional advice and recommendations on vehicle care and performance enhancements.

  • Maintain open communication with customers regarding repair status and any additional required services.

• Workshop Maintenance:

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Properly document all work performed, including parts used and labor hours.

  • Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition and report any issues to management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in powersports mechanics preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanic in the powersports industry.

• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of powersports vehicles.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; motorcycle endorsement preferred.

• Must own basic tools required for the job.

• Boater’s Safety Certificate preferred.

• Enthusiastic about helping a growing business reach new heights.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move heavy parts and equipment (up to 75 pounds).

• Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and working in various positions.

• Comfortable working in a noisy and sometimes physically demanding environment.
